The HDD Motor Testers:
The BK8015 HDD Mechanical Specifications Tester and the BK8015A
HDD Circuit Specifications Tester were designed and manufactured
by BaKo to test HDD motors as they come off the assembly line. The
two machines are complementary, and were designed to test a
complete set of HDD motor characteristics.
The BK8015 calculates BEMF, torque, current and pure tone. The BK8015A, checks RRO, NRRO, Z Height, Flying Height and Z Deviation. You can use these two machines together to ensure that your hard drive motor is working to specification.
